Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) Nigeria has been operational since 2007, focusing on enhancing healthcare access and outcomes across the country. Collaborating with national and state governments, CHAI addresses critical health challenges by improving access to essential medicines and treatments for diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, pneumonia, and diarrhea—the leading causes of mortality among children under five. The organization also supports the introduction of new vaccines and strengthens immunization services nationwide. Additionally, CHAI works to increase awareness and access to family planning services, aiming to reduce unintended pregnancies and improve maternal and child health outcomes.
